On the occasion of its first anniversary, Sonora Cinematic has unveiled a new version of its creative sound design Kontakt Player instrument, Harmonic Bloom. The v1.3 update brings a host of inspiring presets, all crafted by a team of skilled musicians, composers, and sound designers.
Harmonic Bloom is a unique tool that transforms noise into distinctive musical material for compositions. It offers a wide range of sound design possibilities, from serene and contemplative organic soundscapes to dark and formidable mechanical pads and textures. This is achieved using the included noises and sound sources. Additionally, users have the option to import their own samples into the user-friendly interface to create rich, intricate, and enthralling instruments.
Once a sound is chosen or imported, users can start extracting harmonics from these chaotic waveforms to achieve a musical pitch. But that’s just the start. A multitude of built-in LFOs can independently modulate the panning, volume, and filters of each single harmonic. This makes the creation of lush, evolving soundscapes as simple as adjusting a few knobs. Users can also add a second layer from a handpicked selection of deeply sampled sound sources, which range from rare instruments to classic analog synths, guitars to reamped acoustic instruments, and more.
The v1.3 update of Harmonic Bloom introduces a new set of presets, designed by some exceptionally talented music and sound design artists such as Si Begg, r beny, MATTHS, Patricia Wolf, and Elif Yalvaç. These 78 new presets enhance the existing generous offering, providing a wealth of electronica and ambient goodness for users to explore.
Harmonic Bloom is currently available at a 30% discount until 7th January 2024, as part of the Sonora Cinematic up to half price Winter Sale, which also commenced today. It is important to note that Harmonic Bloom is developed for the free Kontakt Player v7+.
