Sonora Cinematic has launched Panorama Hybrid, an instrument developed in the company’s Aria engine. This new release, available for a limited period, is a full-featured Kontakt Player that comes free with the purchase of any Sonora Cinematic NKS title.
Panorama Hybrid builds upon the ethereal tones of its predecessor and the best-selling Panorama Guitars of this year. It offers a darker, richer, and more immersive post-rock palette, making it ideal for ambient, cinematic, and experimental compositions. Recorded in the same studio as Panorama Guitars, the core of Panorama Hybrid is a darker-sounding T-style semi-hollow guitar with soapbar pickups. This guitar delivers a warm and round tone, with a thicker sound compared to its brighter predecessor, making it perfect for textures or moody melodic lines. It serves as the perfect companion to Panorama Guitars, expanding the spectrum with deeper emotional resonance.
The key features of Panorama Hybrid include:
- 41 Presets across six categories: Atmospheres & Pads, Bass, Dark T, Keys, Lead, and Motions.
- 16 Meticulously Sampled Sound Sources including the T-style semi-hollow guitar, electric basses, synth layers designed to work to augment the guitar sound and a series of playable ambient patches made from our session’s huge pedalboard.
- Aria Engine: This feature unlocks a world of modulation, expressive effects, and tools to manipulate both the included and your own imported samples.
- Dark Cinematic Tones: A lush sound palette crafted for evocative scoring and creative music production and sound design.
For a limited time, Panorama Hybrid is available for free with any purchase of a Sonora Cinematic NKS product or bundle such as Panorama Guitars, Poiesis Cello v2, Aria Vocalscapes, Verticale, and others. All these are included in the developer’s Winter sale. The offer ends on 31st January 2025. Panorama Hybrid is compatible with the free Kontakt Player v8.1+.
