Soundiron has launched Organetta, a new addition to its Vintage Keys Series. This virtual instrument for full Kontakt is a digital rendition of a portable vintage electronic organ from the early 1970s, originally produced by the respected German manufacturer, Hohner.
The Organetta is known for its distinctive sound, a unique blend reminiscent of a melodica, accordion, and analog synthesizer. Its original model, the El Luxe 49P, featured vibrant switches that allowed users to seamlessly switch between various tones, ranging from mellow flutes to brilliant trumpets, warm strings to haunting oboes. The organ was equipped with internal speakers and came with volume-adjustable drum loops, providing a comprehensive tool for practicing organ skills.
In order to accurately reproduce the unique character of this vintage instrument, Soundiron recorded two microphone positions: up close in stereo, and direct line in. The virtual Organetta comes with a selection of synth sustains, deep bass tones, staccatos, drum loops, and keystroke sound effects. Users can explore its full potential by experimenting with the built-in FX rack, which offers amplifier emulation, reverb, delay, distortion, and more.
Additionally, Soundiron has included 20 custom patches and sound-designed ambient synth pads created from the source. This makes the library extraordinarily playable and versatile, suitable for creating a wide range of sounds. Whether users are aiming to create a massive video game sound, a bold synth bass, or a slick nasal brass solo, Organetta is equipped to deliver.
As an introductory offer, Soundiron is providing a 33% discount on the Organetta. The expiry date of this offer is currently unknown.
