Soundiron has launched a new addition to its library offerings with the release of Blazer – Retro Anime Synths & FX. This collection is designed for both the full version of Kontakt and the Decent Sampler, offering a nostalgic nod to the classic anime sci-fi sounds of the 1970s and 1980s.
The Blazer library is currently available at a promotional price, featuring a comprehensive selection of synths and sound design elements. It includes 21 Kontakt instrument presets and 12 Decent Sampler presets, alongside 2,186 stereo samples in unlocked WAV format. The total installed size of the library is 5.5 GB.
This collection aims to capture the essence of classic anime sci-fi audio, providing users with a variety of trans-galactic synths and harmonious cosmo pads. Additionally, it offers a range of HiFi and Lofi sound design elements suitable for creating stingers, drums, percussion, retro animation foley, and effects.
The Kontakt interface is equipped with a suite of automation-ready sound-shaping controls. Users can take advantage of an adaptable LFO system, a customizable arpeggiator, and a modular FX rack panel featuring 27 different DSP effect modules. The Reverb effect is particularly notable, offering 99 different rooms, halls, chambers, and outdoor environments, along with 40 custom FX impulses.
To utilize the .nki instrument presets, users will need the full retail version of Native Instruments Kontakt version 6.6 or later. It is important to note that the free Kontakt “Player” and “Add Library” import process do not support these standard open-format Kontakt libraries. For those using the Decent Sampler presets, the free Decent Sampler engine is required.
Documentation is provided in the form of PDF user manuals for both Kontakt and Decent Sampler, ensuring users have access to detailed guidance on utilizing the library effectively.
System requirements for the library include a multi-core CPU, 3 GB of system RAM, and a SATA or SSD hard drive. For Kontakt presets, compatibility extends to Mac OSX 10.12 or higher and Windows 7 or higher. The Decent Sampler presets support Mac OSX 10.9 or higher and Linux x86 64bit.
