SoundPaint has released Instant Acoustic Nylon Guitar library, designed for use with the free Soundpaint Engine. This new offering provides musicians and producers with a comprehensive collection of deep-sampled classical nylon guitar sounds.
The Instant Acoustic Nylon Guitar library is characterized by its pristine sound quality and extensive range of features. It includes hundreds of natural fret and release noises, as well as natural strum samples. Users can access both non-vibrato classical guitar and an acoustic guitar with naturally sampled vibrato on each note. Additionally, the SoundLabs feature allows for the blending of the acoustic guitar with other instruments, such as the 1928 Vintage Grand Steinway Piano and Alto Flute, among other exotic instruments.
The library’s Acoustic Nylon Guitar Strummer component offers over 6,500 samples, distributed across 13 different chord types and 13 different rhythms. This setup enables seamless blending to create an infinite number of musical combinations. The strum library is based on a round-robin system, which introduces subtle variations even when the same chord or rhythm is played repeatedly. Furthermore, the Acoustic Guitar Strummer Parts include chords in perfect 5ths, allowing users to shape virtually any chord by combining it with the Acoustic Guitar Solo Parts within the library.
Compatibility with the free Soundpaint Engine is a key feature of the Instant Acoustic Nylon Guitar library. It requires Soundpaint Version 3.2.1 or higher and is compatible with Windows (Version 10 and above) and Mac (OS X 10.14 and above) systems, including both Intel and Apple ARM (M Chip) architectures. Supported plug-in formats include Stand-alone, VST, VST3, AU, and AAX. The minimum system requirements for optimal performance are an Intel Core i5 or equivalent CPU, with 16 GB of RAM or more recommended, and an SSD is also recommended.
