News: Steinberg Unveils Navia Harp, New Free HALion Instrument by Sonic Atoms.

Steinberg has launched Navia Harp. This unique instrument merges the traditional sound of a sampled harp with contemporary effects such as distortion and tape delay, making it a versatile addition to any music producer’s toolkit.

The Navia Harp is designed to complement a wide range of music genres, from plucked trap and EDM to neoclassical. The harp was meticulously sampled at Monochrom Studio and recorded in an orchestral setup, ensuring a rich and authentic sound. In addition to the classic harp tones, the Navia Harp also offers additional effects such as distortion, delay, and tape delay, allowing musicians to experiment and create unique soundscapes.

This instrument is compatible with the free HALion Sonic in various Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) including Cubase, Ableton, FL Studio, and Logic Pro. This means that musicians and producers can easily integrate the Navia Harp into their existing workflows, regardless of their preferred DAW.

The system requirements for the Navia Harp include compatibility with HALion Sonic 7, HALion 7, and Steinberg Licensing for license management. Users will need an internet connection for license activation, installer download, account sign up, and product registration. The HALion Sonic is available for free as a plug-in for any VST3, AU, and AAX compatible host and as a stand-alone application for macOS and Windows.

Sonic Atoms, the brains behind the Navia Harp, was established in 2020 by film and game composer Patryk Scelina. The company’s first sample library was Baltic Shimmers, followed by Novel Piano. Both are high-quality libraries that are well-suited for game and scoring sound design. The Navia Harp is the latest addition to Sonic Atoms’ growing portfolio of innovative and high-quality instruments.
