Strezov Sampling has announced the release of Afflatus Chapter II Brass library for Kontakt Player. This extensive collection of brass instruments, inspired by film and classical music icons, offers a wide range of curated ensembles, traditional orchestral sections, and soloists. The library, which took five years to conceptualize and polish, is based on popular soundtracks and covers the classical symphonic repertoire.
The Afflatus Chapter II Brass library provides a comprehensive collection of brass instruments, recorded consistently in normale and with various types of mutes. This makes it easier and more satisfying to write for orchestral brass. The library pushes the concept far beyond the first installment of the series, making it a true workhorse collection of brass instruments.
Like its predecessor, Afflatus Brass also explores the unknown, featuring an experimental subfolder. These highly playable patches are processed and mapped in unusual ways, allowing users to get sounds beyond the traditional orchestral perspective on brass instruments.
