Strezov Sampling has launched Arabian Ethnic Orchestra, a meticulously crafted collection of virtual instruments that encapsulates the rich musical traditions of the Middle East. Recorded in the heart of Damascus, this new release aims to provide musicians and composers with an authentic sound experience, currently available at a special introductory price.
The Arabian Ethnic Orchestra by Strezov Sampling is a comprehensive library featuring over 50 diverse instruments. This collection includes a range of playable plucked and bowed strings, vocals, winds, percussion, and sound design elements, all designed to capture the essence of a traditional Middle Eastern orchestra. The library is equipped with advanced tuning capabilities to ensure an authentic regional sound, complemented by improvisations and phrases inspired by popular licks and grooves.
The recording process took place entirely in Syria, utilizing the talents of authentic Arabian musicians. Ensemble recordings were conducted in a medium-sized concert hall, while solo performances were captured in a smaller studio setting. The sessions employed various microphones, later mixed into three distinct microphone positions: Close, Mid, and Far, to provide users with flexible sound options.
In addition to individual instrument performances, the library includes a selection of fully produced percussion loops. These loops are designed to offer quick and satisfying results, with multiple time signatures available for enhanced versatility. The loops are programmed to automatically sync with the tempo of the user’s host sequencer, streamlining the creative process.
The Arabian Ethnic Orchestra is available for download through Native Access and is compatible with Native Instruments’ Kontakt Player version 6.7.1 or higher. Users will need approximately 60 GB of free space for the library and an additional 60 GB for the archive files. A minimum of 16GB RAM is recommended to ensure optimal performance.
The introductory price for the Arabian Ethnic Orchestra is €299.00, valid until March 31st, 2025. After this date, the full retail price will be €399.00.
