Synchro Arts has launched VocAlign 7, a new version of its vocal alignment software for music production and post-production workflows. The update introduces a multi-track workspace intended to let users view, manage, and align vocal layers from one environment.
VocAlign 7 is designed for sessions involving stacked lead vocals, backing vocals, doubles, harmonies, and other layered vocal arrangements. Users can designate any track as a guide, then align multiple selected vocal tracks in a single operation rather than processing each track individually.
The new Multi-Track View displays all captured vocal tracks within one workspace. Synchro Arts states that this approach is intended to support larger vocal sessions and reduce repeated track-by-track editing steps.
Other additions in VocAlign 7 include track-based pitch and timing controls, which can be applied across a session or adjusted on individual tracks and clips. The software also includes Visual Energy Analysis, providing visual feedback intended to help users identify timing and alignment differences across multiple vocal tracks.
VocAlign 7 continues to include SmartPitch, a feature that detects areas where backing vocals may require pitch correction and applies processing selectively. According to Synchro Arts, the feature is designed to retain the pitch relationships within harmonies while addressing selected notes.
VocAlign 7 is available in Standard and Pro editions. The Pro edition adds features for users working with more detailed vocal-editing workflows:
- Creative Formant Control, providing independent formant adjustment for vocal stacks and doubled parts.
- SynchroLink 2.0, which connects VocAlign 7 Pro with Synchro Arts’ RePitch 2 pitch-correction software to keep tuning and alignment edits synchronised during the editing process.
Synchro Arts describes the new version as a workflow-focused update built around managing complete vocal stacks in a unified view. VocAlign 7 is intended for music producers, recording engineers, and post-production professionals working with vocal timing and pitch alignment.
VocAlign 7 Standard is available for $149 for a new licence, $69 as an upgrade, and $99 as a crossgrade. VocAlign 7 Pro is available for $199 for a new licence, $99 as an upgrade, and $133 as a crossgrade.
Synchro Arts subscriptions include an Artist plan at $14.99 per month, or $9.99 per month when billed annually at $119 per year, including VocAlign 7 Standard. The Pro plan is $24.99 per month, or $16.58 per month when billed annually at $199 per year, including VocAlign 7 Pro.
