TAL-Software Launches TAL-Pha, a Virtual Synth Plugin.

News: TAL-Software Launches TAL-Pha, a Virtual Synth Plugin.

TAL-Software has launched TAL-Pha, a virtual synth plugin that emulates the Roland’s Alpha Juno II. This innovative plugin is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems.

TAL-Pha is an instrument plugin that recreates the sound of the iconic 80’s synthesizer, Alpha Juno II (also known as MKS-50 in its rack version). The plugin not only produces the classic analog sound but also offers modern flexibility and a host of additional features. It can read and convert sysex information from the hardware and can also function as a controller.

The TAL-Pha plugin offers an authentic emulation of the 80’s hardware synthesizer. It features a resonance boost for filter self-oscillation and provides the ability to detune, modulate, and sync the pulse part of the DCO. The plugin also includes a simple yet powerful FX section with delay, reverb, and a bell-eq.

In addition to these features, TAL-Pha also includes an arpeggiator with different modes and a stereo UNISON mode with up to seven voices. It supports aftertouch and MPE, and offers microtuning support (including tun file import and MTS Client). The plugin comes with original factory banks and over 380 fresh presets by Electric Himalaya, The Unfinished, Saif Sameer, emptyvessel, and TAL.

One of the unique features of TAL-Pha is the individual tuning for every voice, which converts the synth’s DCO into a VCO. The plugin can read Sysex files and Sysex MIDI from the hardware device. Furthermore, it can also control a hardware device. If enabled, it sends Sysex through the plugin MIDI output, provided this feature is supported by the DAW.

As an introductory offer, TAL-Pha is available at a 20% discount. The expiry date of this offer is currently unknown.
