Techivation has launched a new modular channel strip plugin, AI-Rack, compatible with both Windows and Mac systems. This plugin includes five advanced AI processors and a rack-exclusive Tilt EQ, designed to enhance audio production by adapting to users’ specific mixing goals.
The AI-Rack plugin is available in VST, VST3, AU, and AAX formats, making it versatile for various digital audio workstations. It features five distinct plug-ins: AI-Loudener, AI-Clarity, AI-De-Esser, AI-Impactor, and AI-Compressor, alongside the exclusive Tilt EQ. This suite is designed to assist users in tasks such as vocal sculpting and mix tightening, offering both simplicity for beginners and depth for professionals.
The Tilt EQ component is a linear phase spectral processor that facilitates quick and musical tonal balance adjustments. It automatically determines the optimal tilt frequency based on the audio’s characteristics, enhancing warmth or clarity as needed. Additionally, it includes an optional high-pass filter with three slope options for precise low-end management.
AI-Rack’s features include smart signal analysis for easy setup and a streamlined workflow that provides total control over the audio processing chain. Users can manually customize the processing chain, allowing for a tailored audio production experience. This flexibility makes the plugin suitable for both novice users seeking quick results and experienced professionals desiring detailed control.
The system requirements for AI-Rack are Windows 7 and up for 64-bit VST and VST3, and 64-bit AAX (PT11 and up) for Windows. For Mac users, it supports Mac OS 10.15 (Catalina) and higher as VST, VST3, AU, and AAX, and is compatible with both Intel processors and Apple Silicon Chips.
Pricing for AI-Rack varies based on previous ownership of Techivation products. Users who own other premium plugins but none from the AI-Series can purchase AI-Rack for $259. For those with AI-Series plugins, upgrade pricing starts at $229 for one owned plugin, decreasing to $99 for those who own four. AI-Rack is free for users who already own all five AI-Series plugins or the Full Access bundle.
