Techivation Launches T-De-Esser 2, a Free De-Esser Plugin.

News: Techivation Launches T-De-Esser 2, a Free De-Esser Plugin.

Techivation has announced the release of its latest product, T-De-Esser 2, a de-esser plugin that is available for both Windows and macOS users. This plugin is an upgrade from the T-De-Esser MK1, offering enhanced functionality and superior audio performance.

T-De-Esser 2 is designed to smooth out high frequencies while maintaining a natural and musical sound. It is compatible with macOS and Windows, and is available in various formats including VST, VST3, AU, and AAX. Additionally, it is compatible with Apple Silicon Chips.

The plugin is capable of removing sibilance and harshness swiftly and effectively. It can manage sibilance in vocals and dialogue transparently, treat irregular tonal balance caused by poor recording, reduce the glare from overly bright guitar and piano recordings, tame piercing synth sounds, control high-frequencies in overheads’ transients, and give more dynamic range to tracks while mastering.

Designed with user-friendliness in mind, T-De-Esser 2 is quick to set up and easy to use. It can be adjusted according to the user’s needs. Unlike most De-Esser plugins on the market, T-De-Esser 2 delivers a pure natural sound while smoothing the high-frequencies. The only noticeable difference will be the removal of harshness.

T-De-Esser 2 features a Graphic User Interface (GUI) that allows users to focus on the output sound rather than the visual changes as they adjust the settings. It also includes several key features such as Processing, Intensity, Sharpness, Frequency Range, Make Up, Quality (Oversampling), Mix, Diff & Filter, Input-Output Level Meters, Internal On-Off Switch, interface scaling feature, and Undo/redo options.

The system requirements for T-De-Esser 2 include Windows 7 and up as 64-bit VST and VST3, and 64-bit AAX (PT11 and up) for Windows users. For Mac users, it requires 10.11 (OS X El Capitan) or higher as 64bit VST, VST3, and AU, and 64-bit AAX, Intel, and Apple Silicon Chips.

The plugin is available for free download.
