The collection, recorded over two years from the Sigal Music Museum’s esteemed collection, includes three pianos, two harpsichords, and a clavichord, each with its own unique history and significance.
Among the instruments featured in the Sigal Collection Volume 1 is a Broadwood & Sons piano, known for its association with the renowned composer Frédéric Chopin. Another notable instrument is an intricately decorated harpsichord, previously owned by Queen Charlotte and played by the legendary Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
In addition to these, the collection also showcases two grand pianos, crafted following the Viennese tradition by historically significant makers. It includes a piano played by Chopin in 1848 and a harpsichord that was once played by Mozart, further enhancing the collection’s historical value.
