The Crow Hill Company has launched Mallet Piano. This unique instrument, recorded at Castle-Sound Studios in Edinburgh, Scotland, brings the distinct sound of a piano played with mallets to digital audio workstations (DAWs) everywhere.
The Mallet Piano is a versatile instrument that can be utilized in a variety of popular DAWs. Users of Ableton, Pro Tools, Reaper, Studio One, Cubase, and Logic can all take advantage of this new offering. The instrument brings a unique sound to any composition, with the distinctive tonal qualities of a piano played with mallets.
To ensure a seamless user experience, The Crow Hill Company has made the Mallet Piano available through a downloadable app. This app is compatible with MacOS (Intel and ARM) and Windows (10 through to 11). However, it’s important to note that not all instruments from The Crow Hill Company support all operating systems. Users are therefore advised to check each individual product page for compatibility.
For optimal performance of the Mallet Piano, the recommended minimum requirements include 4 GB or more of RAM, a high-speed internet connection, and 1 GB or more of free disk space. These specifications ensure that users can fully enjoy the rich sound and functionality of the Mallet Piano without any technical hitches.
The Mallet Piano is part of the Vaults series, a collection of instruments that are free for anyone who appreciates high-quality sound. These instruments are downloadable and playable offline, providing a convenient and cost-effective solution for music producers and enthusiasts. Unlike many digital instruments, the Vaults series does not require a subscription or in-app purchases, making it an accessible choice for all.
The Mallet Piano, like all instruments in the Vaults series, is available for free. There is no expiry date for this offer, allowing users to download and enjoy the instrument at their convenience.
