Tilr has launched REEV-R, a convolution reverb plugin, available for free on Windows, macOS, and Linux. This new offering is designed to enhance audio production with its versatile features and high performance.
REEV-R is built on the KlangFalter library, ensuring efficient convolution reverb processing. It supports a range of impulse response (IR) manipulations, including stretch, trim, reverse, attack, and decay adjustments. These features provide users with the flexibility to tailor their audio projects to specific needs.
The plugin includes both pre/send and post/reverb MSEG modulation, offering 12 patterns that can be triggered via MIDI notes. This allows for dynamic and creative sound shaping. Additionally, REEV-R features a paint mode, enabling users to define custom shapes, along with a built-in sequencer and randomizer for further sound experimentation.
Users should note that REEV-R does not come with additional impulse response files beyond the default one. To fully utilize the plugin, users must install convolution IRs in the plugin’s default impulses folder or redirect the plugin to an existing folder containing the necessary impulses.
