Tonstrum has launched SpinTracer audio motion effect plugin, compatible with both Mac and Windows operating systems. This innovative tool allows users to manipulate sound in real-time, moving audio through three-dimensional space using mouse movements.
The SpinTracer plugin is equipped with an integrated creative motion engine. This feature provides a dynamic layer for manipulating sound sources into geometric patterns or random, swarm-like textures. The advanced motion engine can be used to create circular motion patterns or infuse tracks with organic textures in random mode. It can manage up to eight sound objects, which can either encircle or randomly swarm around the listener’s head. The incoming stereo signal is mapped across these eight sound orb objects.
In addition to its motion engine, SpinTracer also incorporates floor reflections and binaural panning into its sophisticated Doppler engine. This technology has been adapted for each sound orb, enabling realistic simulations of sound waves bouncing off the floor and precise spatial audio positioning.
