Tonsturm has unveiled its latest offering, the Spiral Strings library, designed for full Kontakt. The new instrument is a two-layered system, labeled as LAYER A and LAYER B, with identical functions for both layers. Users have the freedom to select all parameters separately and individually for each layer, providing a high degree of customization.
The Spiral Strings library comes with an integrated modulation matrix, enhancing the instrument’s versatility. It includes three Low-Frequency Oscillators (LFOs) and two Step Sequencers, offering a wide range of sound modulation possibilities. The system also boasts cross-modulation capabilities, allowing users to select modulation destinations for parameters on the Main & Effects Page.
One of the standout features of Spiral Strings is the True StereoReverb. Tonsturm has sampled High-Quality Impulse Responses (IRs) of the instrument, as well as the most characterful hardware and rooms, to provide a rich and immersive sound experience. Users can also choose between finely-tuned Filter, Distortion, and Tape Saturation effects, further enhancing the instrument’s sound capabilities.
