Tonsturm has launched Spiral Strings library for Kontakt, marking the company’s first foray into Kontakt music instruments. Developed, recorded, and refined over several years, the Spiral Strings library boasts a unique feature set, including the standout True StereoReverb.
The Spiral Strings library is distinguished by its powerful modulation matrix, which includes three LFO’s and two Step Sequencers, as well as cross-modulation capabilities. This instrument also features a two-layer system, with identical functions for both layers. Users have the flexibility to select parameters for each layer separately and individually, allowing for a high degree of customization.
A key feature of this instrument is the use of True Stereo Convolution Reverb in Kontakt. This feature doubles the voice usage when the instrument is played, enhancing the richness and depth of the sound produced. However, this advanced functionality requires robust system specifications. The instrument requires an Intel CPU i5 or better, Mac OSX 10.12+ (64-bit), or Windows 8 – 10 (64-bit), along with 6 GB of RAM.
The Spiral Strings library is a comprehensive tool, containing 4576 samples and requiring over 24 GB of disk space during installation. It’s important to note that this instrument is not compatible with the free Kontakt player, necessitating the full version of Kontakt for use.
The Spiral Strings library for Kontakt by Tonsturm is priced at $179. However, it is currently available for a promotional price of $119, excluding VAT. This represents a discount of 33%, valid until April 15th. This promotional offer provides an excellent opportunity for music producers and enthusiasts to add this advanced tool to their repertoire at a reduced cost.
