News: Tracktion Launches StageBox a Standalone Plugin Host and Setlist Manager for Live Keyboard Performance.

Tracktion has launched StageBox, a new standalone plugin host and setlist manager tailored for live keyboard performances. This innovative tool aims to simplify the complexities of live performances while delivering studio-quality sound on stage.

StageBox is designed to allow musicians to bring their preferred software instruments and effects plugins to live performances, offering the flexibility to create unique keyboard setups that traditional stage pianos cannot provide. The product is the result of a collaboration between Matt Robertson, a three-time Grammy-nominated composer and musical director, and Jules Storer, known for his work on the JUCE framework and Tracktion engine.

StageBox enables users to design custom instrument and effect configurations using any VST3 or Audio Units plugins. These configurations can be seamlessly integrated into Songs and Sets, allowing for efficient setlist management. The software also supports the sharing of instruments between songs, facilitating quick set preparation. Additionally, effects can be applied either per sound or per song, providing flexibility in sound design.

The software is equipped with a clutter-free layout, ensuring that users only see the necessary elements during a performance. It also includes simple MIDI Controller management and supports multiple devices, enhancing its usability for live performances. Furthermore, StageBox allows sound layers to be routed to different hardware audio outputs, offering additional control over the live sound environment.

StageBox is compatible with all current Apple and Windows laptops, making it accessible to a wide range of users. The product is available for purchase, with a free 30-day trial offered to new users.
