Ugritone, a software company specializing in audio plugins, has recently launched a new product, the Ampenstein: DAIM100 amp simulator. This guitar amp simulation is powered by the Ampenstein plugin and is designed to provide a solid state underground extreme metal guitar tone.
The Ampenstein: DAIM100 features a single amp emulation, ten pedal and four FX emulations, and three cabinet emulations. It also includes an IR Player and eight extreme metal presets. The download size of the plugin is approximately 270 Mb. The Ampenstein DAIM100 is powered by Vadim Taranov algorithms, a well-known figure in the audio software industry.
The user interface of the Ampenstein: DAIM100 is clean and simple, allowing users to easily adjust their tone, automate any FX and amp knob, save and load presets. This makes it ready to play instantly. Users can select from various presets as a starting point of their tone, save their own favourite presets, and play, record & mix with ease.
The Ampenstein: DAIM100 also comes with a range of post-fx units that can clean up the tone to stand out in a mix. Users can also add them as pre-effects. The plugin includes High/Low-Cut, Exciter, Gain Knob, and EQ. Additionally, users can choose from ten different pedals to add effects to their tone, fix noise issues, add more distortion or use the Chugatron for a chug-a-chug sound. The pedals include Delays, Reverbs, Compression, Gate, Noise Suppressor, Chorus, Tremolo, among others.
Users can also select from an array of high-quality cabinets to define their tone, or use the IR Player to include their own custom IR’s. The Ampenstein: DAIM100 also features an easy tuner to tune your guitar fast, eliminating the need for extra plugins.
While graphics do not affect the tone, they can influence the feel of the plugin. Users can change the background to their liking or even add their own ones if they prefer. This feature adds a personal touch to the user experience, enhancing the overall appeal of the Ampenstein DAIM100.
