United Plugins has launched Orbitron Core, a new modulation plugin for Windows and Mac. This streamlined version of the full Orbitron plugin offers six distinct modulation effects with intuitive controls.
Orbitron Core provides a selection of modulation types designed to add movement and character to audio tracks. Each effect is crafted to deliver specific tonal qualities while keeping the interface clear and focused.

Every effect includes three core parameters, Depth, Width, and Rate, along with two special controls unique to each type. This layout allows for quick adjustments and more nuanced sound shaping.
Activation does not require hardware dongles, iLok accounts, or internet access. A simple license file grants use on any computer registered to the user. The plugin also features 64-bit internal processing, support for sampling rates up to 192 kHz or higher, an intelligent sleep-on-silence mode, and free-for-life updates.
Users seeking the full feature set can upgrade to the full JMG Sound Orbitron. The full version enables fluid crossfading between four modulation effects, effect blending for unique textures, and access to an expanded palette of evolving sounds.
Orbitron Core is available via a pay-what-you-want model from €3 to €12 and includes a free 15-day unlimited trial.
