UVI has unveiled its latest product, HX-20, a virtual instrument compatible with Falcon and the free UVI Workstation. The HX-20 is modeled after a highly recognizable and popular analog monosynth, celebrated for its versatile semi-modular architecture, distinctive front panel design, and significant musical history.
First introduced in the late 1970s, this compact two-oscillator monosynth has remained a favorite among artists worldwide due to its unique features and enduring appeal. The enduring popularity of this synth is not attributed to a single design element, but rather a combination of excellent features, superior sound quality, and exceptional value.
The HX-20 boasts a range of features that have contributed to its popularity. These include rich analog oscillators and a versatile filter section. Furthermore, its semi-modular nature allows it to integrate with external inputs and larger systems, enhancing its functionality and adaptability. In addition to these features, the HX-20 is also relatively light and portable, making it a practical choice for artists and producers.
