UVI has unveiled its latest product, the Aurora Textured Piano library, designed for the free UVI Workstation and Falcon. This innovative library is based on the sound of a world-class concert grand piano and features a 3-layer engine with over 100 customizable textures and atmospheres, including 200 hand-crafted presets.
The Aurora Textured Piano library is designed to provide a creative, modern-oriented piano sound. It enhances the piano’s powerful tonal signature with a wide range of curated textural elements and atmospheres, creating a completely new and uniquely expressive experience. The library includes a creative multi-layer engine with three discrete sonic signatures: a concert grand piano, a dual-layer texture engine, and an atmosphere layer. Each of these is deeply editable, offering unique emotional components that can be sculpted to create evocative new instruments. The piano sound is based on a world-class concert grand recorded at the renowned Guillaume Tell sound stage in Paris.
The Aurora library requires 4.45 GB of space (FLAC lossless encoding, was 18.46 GB in WAV), and includes 211 presets and 8170 samples. It runs in UVI Workstation version 3.1.11+, and Falcon version 2.8.5+ and requires an iLok account (free, dongle not required) and an internet connection for the license activation. The product is compatible with MacOS 10.14 Mojave to macOS 14 Sonoma and Windows 10 to Windows 11 (64-bit) and requires 5 GB of disk space and 4GB RAM (8 GB+ highly recommended for large UVI Soundbanks). It supports Audio Unit, AAX, VST, VST3, Standalone formats and is tested and certified in Digital Performer 8+, Pro Tools 2019+, Logic Pro X+, Cubase 7+, Nuendo 6+, Ableton Live 8+, Studio One 2+, Garage Band 6+, Maschine 1+, Tracktion 4+, Vienna Ensemble Pro 5+, Reaper 4+, Sonar X3+, MainStage 3, MuLab 5.5+, FL Studio, Bitwig 1+, Reason 9.5+.
The introductory price of the Aurora Textured Piano library is 39% off the original price of 129,00 €, making it now 79,00 €. There is also a crossgrade offer available. These offers expire on February 25th.
