UVI has launched Prisma – Producer Lab, a new virtual instrument for Falcon and the free UVI Workstation. It combines curated content from over 100 UVI sound libraries into a dual-layer engine designed for hybrid sound design.
Prisma – Producer Lab offers more than 1,000 handcrafted presets across keyboards, drums, synths, orchestral, world instruments, sequences and effects. Each preset layers two distinct sound sources, allowing users to blend textures and develop unique sonic combinations through intuitive controls.
The instrument features deep editing capabilities for each layer, including amp, filter and effect parameters, as well as real-time performance macros. Native MPE support and modwheel integration enable expressive control for modern controllers, while five customizable performance macros facilitate dynamic sound shaping on the fly.

Prisma requires 14.45 GB of disk space (FLAC-encoded), an iLok account for activation, and an internet connection. It runs in UVI Workstation v4.0.2 or later, and Falcon v3.1.1 or later. A minimum of 4 GB RAM is needed, with 8 GB or more recommended for large soundbanks.
The instrument is compatible with macOS 10.14 Mojave through macOS 15 Sequoia and Windows 10/11 (64-bit). Supported plug-in formats include Audio Unit, AAX, VST and VST3, as well as standalone operation. It has been tested and certified with major DAWs such as Logic Pro X, Pro Tools 2019+, Ableton Live, Cubase, Studio One, Reaper and more.
Prisma is also included in SonicPass, UVI’s subscription offering, and owners of SonicBundle can claim a €/$10 voucher toward the purchase.
