Variety of Sound has launched FeenstaubTX, a free transient processing plugin exclusively for Windows. This innovative plugin is an exciter and expander effect based on audio transient processing, designed to enhance and refine signals in a unique way.
FeenstaubTX is designed to work on complex full program stereo material for very gentle balancing audio in three dimensions: Timbre, dynamic structure, and stereo field. While all areas are touched only slightly, it creates a musical consistency that brings some analog feel back into the digital realm, and the signal appears subtly colored and sprinkled with a little magic.
The plugin offers saturation processing based on audio transient information, cross-channel compression and expansion effects, and selectable color options such as Tube, Solid-State, and Transformer. It also features mid/side processing, allowing for unique signal coloration, transient management and glue effects, as well as sublime control over the stereo image.
In addition to these features, the release includes the most requested user interface features such as resizable UI, built-in preset management and mousewheel support. These enhancements aim to provide users with a more intuitive and efficient workflow.
