Vox Samples has made another contribution to the world of audio production with the release of Rainbow Bird, a free EQ plugin for Windows and Mac. This innovative plugin, inspired by the renowned EQ4 and its signature “Air Band”, offers improved gain accuracy and user-friendly controls.
Rainbow Bird EQ Plugin by Vox Samples is a unique tool for audio engineers and music producers. It features two “Air” knobs that provide clarity and interact with each other to allow for perfect curve adjustment. This feature sets it apart from other EQ plugins, offering a more nuanced and precise control over sound manipulation.
Unlike stock or surgical EQ, Rainbow Bird EQ does not scale its frequency gains linearly. Instead, it focuses on wide, bold curves to colour the sounds in a musical way. This approach to sound manipulation allows for a more creative and artistic control over the audio, making it a valuable tool for music producers and sound engineers alike.
Moreover, Rainbow Bird EQ ensures minimal phase distortion to maintain sound quality. This is a crucial feature as it prevents any unwanted alterations to the original sound, preserving the integrity of the audio while still allowing for creative manipulation.
The software requirements for Rainbow Bird EQ are specific to ensure optimal performance. For Windows users, a 64-bit system is required with VST3 compatibility. Similarly, for macOS users, a 64-bit system is necessary with VST3 and AU compatibility. These requirements ensure that the plugin runs smoothly and efficiently, providing the best possible user experience.
