VybeCode DSP has launched Seeq’r, a standalone MIDI pattern library for Windows that includes more than 16,000 patterns. The release combines a desktop application with a companion web interface, offering a searchable catalog of MIDI content across multiple genres and instruments.
Seeq’r is built around a curated collection covering 16 genres, 60 subgenres, and 12 instrument categories. The library includes patterns for drums, bass, keys, guitar, leads, arpeggios, pads, and additional parts, spanning styles such as electronic, R&B, country, and others. All patterns are available immediately upon installation.
Within the desktop application, users can browse and search the full catalog. A built-in player allows real-time auditioning of patterns using a General MIDI soundfont engine, a built-in synth, or any installed VST3 instrument. The application supports VST3 hosting with out-of-process scanning, designed to prevent interface lockups when scanning large plugin collections. Users can also load custom SF2 soundfont files for playback.
Patterns can be dragged directly from the application into a digital audio workstation as standard MIDI clips. The exported files are compatible with major hosts including Ableton Live, FL Studio, Logic Pro, Bitwig Studio, Reaper, and others that support MIDI import.
For editing prior to export, Seeq’r includes an 88-key piano-roll editor. The editor supports drag-to-move note editing, live quantize snap, transposition, and scrolling up to 128 bars. Users can also import their own MIDI files into a personal library. Imported files can be edited, previewed, transposed non-destructively, and exported.
An integrated AI Remix feature enables users to generate variations of existing patterns directly within the desktop application. This function operates using the user’s own Anthropic API key.
The desktop application includes a personal library system with folders and favorites. The full catalog is cached locally, allowing browsing without an internet connection. Login options include email and password or Google authentication, with credentials stored securely via Windows DPAPI.
The companion web interface mirrors the desktop library and allows access from any browser. Features of the web app include:
- Full catalog browsing with piano-roll previews and MIDI export
- Filtering by instrument, genre, subgenre, and free-text search
- Access to imported patterns synced from the desktop application
- Folder and favorites management
- Library and add-on tabs for owned and available content packs
- Account self-service options including email and password management
Synchronization between the desktop and web applications is handled automatically. The system performs bidirectional sync approximately every 90 seconds, updating library content, folders, favorites, and deletions. The desktop app operates with an offline-first design, applying catch-up synchronization once an internet connection is restored. A single account provides access to both desktop and web environments.
Desktop app features include:
- Browsing and searching across 16+ genres and subgenres
- Real-time audio preview with built-in engine or VST3 hosting
- Custom SF2 soundfont loading
- 88-key piano-roll editor with quantize and extended timeline support
- Drag-to-DAW MIDI export
- MIDI file import with non-destructive transpose
- AI-based pattern variation using a user-supplied API key
- Cloud-synced personal library with offline catalog access
Seeq’r is available now for Windows as a standalone desktop application. Versions for macOS and Linux are currently in development. A free web preview is accessible through the Seeq’r website.
Seeq’r is available for a one-time purchase of $10. The purchase includes the full pattern library, access to the web interface, and all future add-on pack updates at no additional cost.
