Woodman’s Immaculate Maple Syrup Studio has launched WoodVerberator convolution reverb plugin, available for Mac and iOS systems. This plugin is a blend of classic reverb controls and innovative features, making it a standout in the field of convolution reverb plugins.
The WoodVerberator convolution reverb plugin offers a range of key features. Users can set the reverb time from 0 to 10 seconds or to the IR file’s native length. The plugin also provides controls to adjust the reverb, including damping and distribution. It allows for the creation of stereo either by using a stereo IR file or by de correlating a mono file.
Additional features include a high-pass filter (HPF), low-pass filter (LPF), and saturator that work on the reverb’s late part only. The plugin also supports amplitude and phase modulation, gating and ducking, which can be driven by the side chain. An extra delay that works on the reverb’s late part only is also included.
The WoodVerberator convolution reverb plugin also comes with general HPF, LPF, and de-essing filters, a quality control to balance the CPU load, standard mix and pre-delay controls, and the ability to add user IR files to the WoodVerberator IR folder. The plugin also features input and output level meters, can generate surround and immersive 3D output (on macOS), and includes a graph displaying the IR.
The system requirements for macOS include a compatible Mac, either Intel or Apple Silicon (M1, M2, or newer), an operating system of macOS 14.4.1 or greater, a processor of Intel® Core i5 or Apple Silicon (M1, M2, or newer) with Intel® Core i7 or newer recommended, and a memory of 16GB RAM (32GB or more recommended).
For iOS, the system requirements include compatible devices such as iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, an operating system of iOS 17 or greater, a processor of A12 Bionic chip or newer, and sufficient device storage to support app requirements (specific app requirements may vary).
As part of the launch, there is a promotional discount of 40% off on macOS and 30% off on iOS, which will end on October 15, 2024.
