XPERIMENTA Audio has recently launched the YM Pianos library, an updated version of their well-known Due Pianos, now incorporated into the PF Series. This library, designed for Kontakt, features two meticulously sampled Grand Pianos, Y7 and Y3, and includes 30 Creative Layers for unique instrument creation.
The YM Pianos library is a comprehensive collection of high-quality piano samples. The two Grand Pianos, Y7 and Y3, were carefully sampled by engineers in Helsinki, offering a range of tones from warm to bright. The library also includes 30 Creative Layers, composed of sounds from analog vintage synthesizers, rare instruments, and felt noises. These layers can be mixed with the Piano F, providing users with the ability to create unique instruments.
To use the YM Pianos library, users must have Kontakt Full 6.6.1 or a higher version. It’s important to note that the library is not compatible with Kontakt Player. The library is priced at 99,00€, but an extended introductory price is available until 05/07. Additionally, the YM Pianos library is available as a free update for Due Pianos users.
The YM Pianos library was recorded at a high resolution of 96kHz, using top-end gear. This includes vintage tube and ribbon microphones, which contribute to a deep and warm sound. The library provides three microphone settings for the Y7 piano: CLOSE, MIDDLE, ROOM, and two settings for the Y3 piano: CLOSE, ROOM. The PF Series also features an intuitive and user-friendly GUI, allowing users to have total control over the sound.
The library consists of 4250 samples and requires a good internet connection for download. It also includes more than 20 ready-to-go presets, designed by the XPERIMENTA team, to help users get started quickly.
As an introductory offer, the YM Pianos library is available at a 30% discount until March 2nd.
