PSP Audioware (PSPaudioware.com s.c., Professional Sound Projects) is a Warsaw-based developer of digital signal processors and audio effects for composing, recording, mixing, mastering, post-production, and broadcasting. Founded in 2000 by longtime friends Antoni Ozynski and lead developer Mateusz Wozniak, the company was among the first creators of audio plug-ins for digital audio workstations in post-communist Poland. Early releases such as PSP StereoPack and PSP MixPack drew limited attention, but the 2002 launch of PSP VintageWarmer, an analog-inspired multiband compressor and saturation processor, earned excellent reviews and Computer Music’s Ultimate Buy award, establishing the firm’s reputation. In subsequent years, Adam Taborowki and Piotr Dmuchowski joined the team, contributing ideas and solutions that informed later products.
Since its breakthrough, PSP Audioware has released a wide range of mastering-grade plug-ins, dynamics processors, and creative effects that are widely used in project and professional studios. The company has earned industry recognition and formal endorsements, including EMT for the PSP 2445 EMT, Avedis for the PSP E27, and Lexicon for the Lexicon PSP 42, alongside a Lexicon PCM42 emulation that evolved into the PSP 84 and later the PSP 85. Representative titles include PSP MasterComp, PSP Neon HR, PSP Xenon, PSP oldTimer, PSP BussPressor, PSP Echo, PSP SpringBox, PSP L’otary, PSP MasterQ2, PSP TripleMeter, PSP FETpressor, PSP preQursor2, and PSP Nexcellence.
