How It Works
Built by Audio Plugin Guy, this is the offline version of the Plugin Library Manager. It is built for local library work, including scanning real plugin folders from your file system and saving .pluginlibrary files when you want them.
Adding Plugins Manually
Click Add Plugin to open the entry form. Only the plugin name is required. Fill in developer, category, formats, license type, serial/key, price paid, and notes, then click Save to add it.
Quick Add
Use Quick Add to paste a list of plugin names, one per line. It creates minimal entries you can fill out later.
Local Folder Scanning
Click Scan Folder and choose a plugin directory (e.g. /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins on Mac, or C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 on Windows). The app scans locally and detects VST3, AU, VST2, CLAP, AAX, and Standalone bundles.
Searching and Filtering
Use the search box to find plugins by name or developer. Use Category and License dropdowns to filter. Click any column header to sort.
Editing Inline
Click the pencil icon on any row to open the full edit form. You can also click directly on name, developer, category, license, price, or notes cells to edit inline.
Serial / License Keys
The serial field is masked by default. Click the eye icon to reveal or hide it. Keys remain in the browser while you work and in any file you choose to download.
Saving and Loading
Save downloads your library as a .pluginlibrary file. Load imports a previously saved file. Import CSV adds or updates plugins from a spreadsheet matched by name. Export CSV downloads the current library as a spreadsheet. CSV Template downloads the expected column headers.
Stats Bar
Shows total plugin count, total amount spent, and a breakdown by category, updated automatically as you add, edit, or delete entries.
Keyboard
Press Escape to close any modal or cancel an inline edit. Press Enter to confirm most inline edits (Ctrl/Cmd + Enter for the notes field). Press Tab to move between edit fields.
