Sunbunny has launched Oh See Threee, an analog-style octave divider plugin developed by musician Phillip Adkins. The plugin processes incoming audio into layered octave voices and is available in free Lite and paid Pro versions.
Oh See Threee provides up to five voices, with each voice independently shifted from -2 to +2 octaves. The design is based on the pitch-tracking behaviour of an analog octave circuit, including tracking irregularities that can occur at the edges of its pitch-following range.
Each of the five voices includes independent controls for level, trim, delay, and filtering. The plugin also includes LFO, envelope, and noise sources for adding movement and drift across the octave layers.
According to Sunbunny, the plugin is intended to retain characteristics associated with analog octave-divider tracking rather than applying fully smoothed digital pitch shifting. It can be used with a range of input sources where layered octave processing and variable tracking behaviour are required.
Oh See Threee is Sunbunny’s fourth plugin release, following Panoramatone, Tentacles, and Absolutely Smashing.
Oh See Threee is available in a free Lite version and a paid Pro version priced at $19.99.
