Music Instinct has launched its latest product, the MI-03 Bassline. This bassline synth plugin, available for both Windows and Mac, offers a fresh take on the classic acid bassline sound, providing a unique tool for today’s music producers.
The MI-03 Bassline is a straightforward subtractive monophonic synthesizer. Its design is not overly complicated, focusing on providing enough creative control for users to develop their own unique sound. The synthesizer is powered by a high-quality, alias-free waveform engine. This engine not only replicates the original’s renowned tones but also offers additional shape options for extended sound design capabilities.
One of the key features of the MI-03 Bassline is its enhanced sequencer. This allows users to create recognizably acid patterns, a characteristic of the classic 303 sound. The plugin also boasts a user-friendly interface, ensuring seamless integration into any production setup. Additionally, it includes a built-in distortion engine with flexible routing. This feature adds a layer of grit and character to the sounds produced, enhancing the overall audio experience.
In terms of system requirements, the MI-03 Bassline requires macOS 10.13 (High Sierra) or later, or Windows 10 or later. A screen resolution higher than 1024×840 is also necessary. The plugin includes native support for both Apple Silicon and Intel processors. For macOS users, the download includes an installer that incorporates an Audio Unit (au) plugin, a VST3 plugin, and a standalone application. Windows users receive a zip file containing a standalone executable (.exe) and a plugin for VST3 compatible hosts (.vst3).
Users have the freedom to set their own price for the plugin. There is currently no expiry date for this offer.
