W. A. Production has released Asymo Reverb, a dynamic spatial reverb plugin for macOS and Windows. The plugin is designed to let users reshape and animate a virtual acoustic space in real time, with controls for asymmetric room geometry, movement, and reverb behaviour.
Asymo Reverb approaches reverberation through an interactive virtual-room model. Rather than using a fixed room shape, the plugin provides adjustable virtual wall boundaries through individual nodes, allowing the room geometry to be warped into asymmetric forms.
The plugin also includes room rotation and orbital motion functions, designed to move the perceived acoustic space around the input signal. According to W. A. Production, its spatial modulation is designed to remain pitch- and phase-stable while the room geometry and movement parameters are adjusted.
Its controls cover room characteristics, damping, and decay, enabling users to set the duration and tonal behaviour of the reverb tail. Low-cut and high-cut filters are included for frequency shaping, while an input ducking function is intended to preserve clarity around vocals and transient material.
Asymo Reverb is intended for applications ranging from subtle ambience to animated reverb textures and atmospheric sound design. The plugin includes A/B comparison functionality, a preset manager, a PDF manual, and a tutorial video.
