fedDSP has launched ECO, a creative delay plug-in with integrated reverb, modulation, colour controls and wet-signal processing tools. Developed by Sheffield, United Kingdom-based manufacturer fedDSP, ECO is designed for delay treatment, rhythmic effects and texture-focused sound design in music production sessions.
ECO provides two interface views. The main view includes controls for delay timing, feedback, mix, delay type and reverb send, while the advanced view provides additional processing controls for shaping the delayed signal.
The plug-in includes 12 delay modes. These cover clean and digital repeats, along with tape, analogue and lo-fi-style processing options. Additional modes include Diffused, Phasey, Rich Mod and Quartz, which are intended to alter the movement and texture of repeats.
In its advanced view, ECO includes drive, tone, filtering, width, spread and modulation controls. Modulation can be set to chorus or vibrato, while Tube saturation provides an additional distortion stage. A ducking control is included to reduce the level of repeats when the input signal is present.
The integrated reverb offers five modes: Smooth, Dense, Large, Studio and Eco. The reverb can receive the delayed signal through the plug-in’s reverb send control.
- 12 delay modes covering clean, digital, tape-style, analogue-style and experimental treatments.
- Chorus and vibrato modulation, drive, Tube saturation, tone, filtering, width and spread controls.
- Integrated five-mode reverb and ducking for delay-level management.
- RANDO randomisation, LOCK parameter preservation and A/B comparison functions.
RANDO generates a new combination of ECO settings with a single control. The LOCK function preserves selected settings during adjustments or randomisation, and A/B comparison enables two parameter states to be compared.
According to fedDSP, ECO operates with zero latency and low CPU usage, including in tracking workflows and larger sessions. The plug-in uses an offline-ready licensing system that does not require a dongle or internet connection after installation, and includes keyboard shortcut support.
fedDSP was founded in 2025 and is based in Sheffield, United Kingdom. The company states that its products are intended to support session-based workflows through low CPU use, zero-latency operation and keyboard-accessible controls.
ECO is available now at an introductory price of £35, with a regular price of £50 scheduled after 5 November 2026. Fully functional, time-limited trials are available from fedDSP.
