Fracture Sounds has launched Toy Piano. This free instrument library, compatible with Kontakt Player, is designed to provide a unique bell-like tone, offering a range of controls and features to enhance music production.
Toy Piano is the latest addition to Fracture Sounds’ Blueprint series. The instrument produces its distinctive sound through hammers striking metal rods. This was achieved by close mic’ing in stereo within a dry studio environment, with controls available in the Faulkner Dulcichord.
The interface of Toy Piano allows users to manipulate the sound in various ways. Users can dampen the release of the played sample, control the volume level of the key noise, and de-tune the keys independently. Additionally, the level of reverb and the level of the Atmosphere Layer can be adjusted to suit the user’s preferences.
The product is fully compatible with the free Kontakt Player and offers full NKS support. It is also accessible to blind and visually impaired musicians, making it a versatile tool for a wide range of users.
Toy Piano has a download size of 155MB, compressed from a 300MB sample pool. It features a traditional upright toy piano, deep sampled with up to 8 round-robins and release samples. The product also boasts a 3-octave playable range, an adjustable ‘atmosphere’ sound design layer, and a user-friendly interface.
As a promotional offer, Toy Piano is available for free download. There is no expiry date for this offer.
