TAL Software launches TAL-G-Verb reverb plugin.

News: TAL Software launches TAL-G-Verb reverb plugin.

TAL Software has launched TAL-G-Verb reverb plugin, which is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. The TAL-G-Verb is a musical effect designed to create high-quality artificial reverb sounds, making it suitable for a wide range of audio applications.

The TAL-G-Verb is versatile and can be used to enhance various types of sounds, from drums to large pads and special effects. It features an internal editor that allows users to manipulate and fine-tune the reverb algorithm according to their needs. The plugin’s embedded grain engine has the capability to transform mono sounds into complex cinematic stereo sounds, chords, and synced arp patterns.

In terms of presets, the TAL-G-Verb comes with more than 100 factory presets. These presets are divided into different categories such as drums, vocals, and synth reverbs. Some of these presets have been created by Solidtrax, a music production company.

The reverb engine of the TAL-G-Verb has been optimized to minimize coloration and digital artifacts. This makes the reverb suitable for a wide range of material, from small rooms to large plate-like reverbs. The plugin includes a graphic EQ that can be used to shape the output spectrum of the reverb. A single color control determines the extent of the reverb’s modulation. A lack of color results in a crystal clear reverb, while a large amount of color leads to a broader and more diffuse reverb sound.

The TAL-G-Verb also features a reverb editor. The degree of coloration and the overall sound, including the early reflections, heavily depend on the internal reverb delays. The plugin comes with various carefully tuned delay settings pre-installed. However, it also allows users to create their own delay/reverb templates, which can then be used in the presets. A complex network between the delay lines ensures that the delays do not have to be perfectly adjusted to sound good.

The plugin’s grain engine can be used to pitch the sound with different pitch offsets or add more chaos and variation to the final reverb output. Different routings are possible with this feature. Additionally, the grain synchronization allows users to create host synced arp patterns. The pattern can be restarted by MIDI NoteOn events.

The TAL-G-Verb is currently available at a 20% introductory discount. The expiry date of this offer is currently unknown.
