Strezov Sampling has unveiled its latest offering, Velvet Grand, a Steinway B piano library designed for Kontakt (full version). This product, recorded in Sofia Session Studio A, is a deeply sampled (25k samples) piano library that offers a range of features for music producers and enthusiasts.
The Velvet Grand was meticulously recorded using multiple microphones, which were later consolidated into five distinct microphone positions – Close, Tube, Ribbon, Decca, and Hall. This method of recording ensures a rich and diverse sound profile, allowing users to achieve a variety of tonal qualities.
The piano library is deeply sampled, boasting 25,000 samples, and offers detailed sustain pedal sampling. This feature allows for a more realistic and nuanced sound, replicating the physical interaction between the piano and the pedal.
In addition, the Velvet Grand comes with six handcrafted presets for different genres of music. These presets provide a starting point for users, enabling them to quickly and easily achieve the desired sound for their specific genre.
The product also offers five microphone positions with unique characters, two switchable release lengths for easy blending into mixes, and seven dynamics with five round robins each. These features provide users with a high degree of control over the sound, allowing them to tailor the piano’s sound to their specific needs.
Furthermore, the Velvet Grand features an adjustable pedal volume. This allows users to control the volume of the pedal sound independently, providing even more flexibility in shaping the overall sound.
To use the Velvet Grand, users will need the Native Instruments Kontakt 6.7.1+ FULL version and an internet connection.
The Velvet Grand is priced at €69.00 until August 1st, 2024, after which the price will increase to €99.00. This introductory offer represents a 30% discount on the regular price.
