Parish Audio has launched HE2 Harmonic Enhancer, an audio plugin designed to add harmonic content, warmth, presence, clarity, and detail to recorded audio. The plugin is intended for use with vocals, instruments, drums, bass, and complete mixes.
HE2 Harmonic Enhancer uses harmonic processing as an alternative to conventional equalisation boosts, with four independent controls covering different frequency regions. The Warmth control adds low-frequency harmonic richness, body, and fullness, while Presence is intended to bring out midrange articulation and definition.
The Edge control addresses the upper-midrange region, adding attack and energy, while Air introduces high-frequency harmonic detail, brightness, and openness. Each control can be adjusted independently to tailor the processing to the source material.
The plugin provides two processing modes. Smooth applies a softer, more rounded harmonic response for subtle enrichment and gentle polishing. Focused provides a more pronounced response intended to emphasise definition, attack, and presence.
An overall Amount control sets the intensity of the harmonic processing. HE2 also includes independent Mix and Output controls, allowing users to blend processed and unprocessed audio and adjust the final output level.
For harmonic generation, HE2 offers selectable 1x, 2x, 4x, and 8x oversampling options to help reduce aliasing. The plugin includes factory presets and supports saving custom presets.
HE2 Harmonic Enhancer is available for Windows in VST3 format and for macOS in VST3 and AU formats.
HE2 Harmonic Enhancer is priced at $49.95, with a 50% introductory discount reducing the price to $24.97 through November 3, 2026.
