Plugin Alliance and ADPTR Audio have introduced a new product, “ADPTR AUDIO HYPE”, a plugin designed for Windows and Mac. This plugin is a comprehensive toolset for multi-band enhancement, providing dynamic processing capabilities for compression, harmonics, and stereo width adjustment.
The HYPE plugin is a versatile tool that can be used to thicken drum loops, enhance vocal tracks, or master your final mix. It allows users to combine multiple harmonic generators and compression algorithms to drive, saturate, or enhance signals. The plugin delivers a full spectrum of harmonic overtones without overprocessing or distortion, thanks to its advanced ADAA algorithms and UrsaDSP’s Trajectory technology.
The plugin provides a wide range of compression algorithms for all styles, from subtle to extreme. It features detailed controls for transient, mix, and body, allowing for tailored dynamic shaping across low, mid, and high frequencies. It also offers six compressor modes ranging from extreme Slam to the classic Opto, and the pristine Brick, to the precise Transient.
HYPE also has a stereo mid/side setting that allows users to control mid/side settings across all three bands and independently adjust dry/wet signals. It also has an Auto Level feature that ensures changes and enhancements to your mix are unbiased by loudness, enabling improved mixing decisions.
The plugin supports AAX Native, AU, AAX AudioSuite, VST2, VST3 formats and is compatible with macOS 14 down to macOS 11 and Windows 11 down to Windows 10. It requires a display resolution of 1440 × 900px or 1280 × 960px or higher and 2 GB RAM.
