Quiet Music has launched a new virtual instrument plugin, Classic GTR 2, compatible with both Windows and Mac systems. This plugin is a multisampled Spanish Guitar that originates from a unique recording session of a flamenco guitar from Paco de Lucia’s esteemed collection.
The recording session took place at the boutique hotel ‘Entre Dos Aguas’ in Toledo, Spain, which was once the home of Paco de Lucia. Despite some background noise, the team managed to capture quality samples. The virtual instrument features one preset with the original sound of the guitar and 48 additional presets, each enhanced with high-quality effects, for diverse musical compositions.
Classic GTR 2 offers users access to 49 presets tailored for different genres. These include Ambient, Chillout, Downtempo, Lo-Fi, Relaxing, and Meditation Music. The plugin’s user-friendly interface features intuitive controls for the ADSR envelope, lowpass/highpass filter cutoff, LFO modulation, global volume, pan, and tune. Users can also shape their sound using built-in effects such as reverb, chorus, delay, and distortion. This allows for the creation of calming, ambient sounds reminiscent of a true flamenco guitar.
As an introductory offer, the Classic GTR 2 is available at a 46% discount until December 8th. Users of the Classic GTR v1 or the bundles that contain it can request a special upgrade price of €8 by contacting Quiet Music at support@quietmusic.eu.
