Shades Of Toast Launches Warp Delay Plugin Featuring Innovative Multi-Tap Delay Capabilities.

News: Shades Of Toast Launches Warp Delay Plugin Featuring Innovative Multi-Tap Delay Capabilities.

Shades Of Toast has launched Warp Delay, a multi-tap delay plugin for macOS and Windows. The plugin combines independently controlled tap density with modulation, feedback-path tape processing, and a Warp function designed to alter the timing relationship between delay taps.

Warp Delay provides separate In and Out tap density controls, allowing users to adjust the distribution of taps entering and leaving the delay process. Its feedback path includes a tape stage, with saturation applied again as repeats cycle through the feedback loop.

The plugin also includes tape wear and flutter controls, alongside ping-pong delay, stereo widening, chorus, tremolo, and tap-wave modulation functions. These options are intended for creating rhythmic echoes, modulated repeats, stereo movement, and tape-style delay textures.

Its Warp control pulls multiple taps towards a shared point in time. According to Shades Of Toast, this process can produce pitch-shifted flanging and thickening effects as the timing of the taps is compressed.

Users can randomise either all parameters or selected functions to generate new settings and patches. Warp Delay is available in VST3 and AU formats for Mac and Windows systems.

The plugin uses a perpetual licence and does not require DRM, subscriptions, dongles, or iLok authorisation. Shades Of Toast also offers a 30-day trial and Warp Delay Lite, a feature-limited version available free of charge.

Warp Delay is available from Shades Of Toast for $39, reduced from $59, until November 1.
