SKR4CH has launched Waveform Designer, a browser-based tool for creating custom single-cycle waveforms and wavetables. The tool is intended for music producers and sound designers who want to prepare waveform material for use in compatible synthesizers.
Waveform Designer enables users to design individual single-cycle waveforms within a web browser and export the resulting files for use in synthesis workflows. Single-cycle waveforms can be used as oscillator sources in synthesizers, while collections of related waveforms can form wavetables for wavetable-capable instruments.
The release is designed around waveform creation and export rather than a standalone instrument environment. Its browser-based format allows the tool to be accessed without a conventional software installation.
