XILS-lab has launched Les Diffuseurs. This bundle includes two reverb effect plugins, La Palme and Le Metallique, both inspired by the unique speakers that accompanied the Ondes Martenot.
The Ondes Martenot, a pioneering electronic musical instrument, was known for its distinctive speakers, or “diffuseurs”. These included a palm-shaped resonance chamber with 12 strings, known as La Palme, and a gong cabinet, known as Le Metallique, which added a specific metallic character to the instrument’s sound. The new plugins from XILS-lab aim to reproduce these classic speakers, offering users a unique audio experience.
La Palme and Le Metallique are not just simple reproductions, however. They come with additional features that enhance their functionality and usability. For instance, users have the ability to mute any string, perform global transposition, and change the size of the gong in real-time. These features provide users with a greater degree of control over their sound, allowing them to tailor it to their specific needs.
Another notable feature of the Les Diffuseurs bundle is the inclusion of a True Stereo Dynamic Engine (TSDE). This allows users to position the two units in a stereo image and master the space. This feature enhances the spatial quality of the sound, providing a more immersive listening experience.
As an introductory offer, XILS-lab is currently offering a 49% discount on the Les Diffuseurs bundle. This offer is valid until April 15th.
