Zero-G has launched Ethera Gold series: Odyssey. This new release is a meticulously crafted library for the full version of Kontakt, focusing on angelic voices and offering a unique sonic experience that blends celestial harmonies with enchanting melodies.
Odyssey is centered around the expressive voice of soprano Sarah Mueller, whose vocal nuances have been extensively sampled to provide a rich auditory experience. The library features a refined True Legato Engine, offering two distinct True Legato instruments: Angelic True Legato and Odyssey True Legato. Angelic True Legato is designed for a light, ethereal vocal tone with a hint of breathiness, featuring two main articulations: Ah and Uh. In contrast, Odyssey True Legato provides a more structured vocal sound, maintaining lightness while delivering a tone that is operatic and classical, with articulations including Oh, Expressive Syllables, Ah, and a special short articulation.
The Adaptive True Legato feature enhances these patches by intelligently responding to the speed of play, ensuring seamless legato transitions. Odyssey also includes a comprehensive selection of Vocal Phrases, which can be accessed via key switches, allowing for flexibility and creativity in compositions.
The library offers three Polyphonic Syllables Builder instruments, enabling users to create expressive choral atmospheres with control over harmony, tone, syllables, and sequences. Additionally, the 3-layer Texture Designer is a powerful tool for crafting evocative vocal textures, featuring a rewritten version of the Hybrid Engine from Elements Kepler. This engine allows for easy modification of the initial sound, facilitating the creation of diverse sonic textures.
The Ethera Gold series, to which Odyssey belongs, includes other notable products such as Atlantis, Prometheus, Ethera Gold 2.5, Ethera Gold Intimate Vocals, and Ethera Gold Sahara Voices. Each product in the series offers unique features and capabilities, catering to a wide range of musical and compositional needs.
