Audiority has launched Spatial D320, a hybrid BBD spatial enhancer plugin for Windows and macOS. The new plugin draws inspiration from the Roland® SDD-320 Dimension D™ while introducing additional controls and processing features within a modern software format.
Spatial D320 is designed as a BBD-based chorus and spatial enhancement processor. Inspired by the original hardware unit’s approach to dimension and stereo widening, the plugin expands on that concept by offering continuous control across its four dimension modes, rather than fixed-button selections.
According to Audiority, the aim is to preserve the philosophy of the original unit while extending its functionality. Spatial D320 provides detailed adjustment over modulation and spatial characteristics, alongside additional tone-shaping tools intended to broaden its creative scope.

The inclusion of a 12AU7 valve stage is intended to introduce harmonic coloration, while the Ambience generator and X-Depth control allow for additional spatial shaping. The Focus high-pass filter operates with mid/side routing, enabling targeted frequency management within the stereo field. An integrated goniometer provides visual feedback on stereo imaging.
Spatial D320 can be applied across a range of sources, including vocals, guitars, synthesizers, and drums. Typical uses include enhancing stereo width, adding modulation-based movement, introducing warmth, and creating a sense of space within a mix.
The plugin was originally released in June 2026.
System requirements are as follows:
- Windows: Windows 7 64-bit or later, Intel i7 or higher, 2GB RAM, 1024×768 screen resolution, CLAP, VST3 64-bit host, Pro Tools 11 or higher with AAX 64-bit support.
- Intel macOS: macOS 10.13 or later, Intel i7 or higher, 2GB RAM, 1024×768 screen resolution, CLAP, VST3, AU 64-bit host, Pro Tools 11 or higher with AAX 64-bit support.
- Apple Silicon macOS: macOS 11.0 or later, Apple M1 or higher, 2GB RAM, 1024×768 screen resolution, CLAP, VST3, AU 64-bit host, Pro Tools 11 or higher with AAX 64-bit support.
Spatial D320 is priced at €69.00, with an introductory price of €39.00 available until July 5th. A special loyalty price is available in the user area.
