touski has launched GrooveBloom v1.0, a VST3 effect plugin designed to detect musical keys and chords from incoming audio. The plugin can use transient information from drum loops, samples, or complete beats to trigger melodic and chord-based parts.
GrooveBloom analyses the incoming audio for key and chord information, including an Auto mode intended to follow harmonic changes. Its transient engine includes controls for sensitivity and gate settings, alongside rhythmic grid options from quarter notes to 32nd notes, including triplet divisions and swing.
The plugin provides four playback modes: Melody, Chords, Melody + Chords, and Arpeggio. The arpeggiator supports chord voicings from triads to add9 chords and includes a strum function. GrooveBloom also includes 12 genre-based progression sets covering styles such as rap/rage, dark, drill, R&B, and pop, as well as an Auto option.
GrooveBloom includes 32 built-in sounds with drive, chorus, delay, reverb, and pump controls. A built-in sampler allows users to load WAV or MP3 files, with pitch detection and 808 glide support. MIDI output can be routed to other instruments in a compatible host.
Additional workflow features include Loop Lock settings for one, two, four, or eight bars, plus a Freeze function. The plugin includes 25 presets, and users can share banks using .gbpack files. GrooveBloom is designed to operate with zero latency.
GrooveBloom is available in VST3 format and is compatible with VST3 hosts including FL Studio, Ableton Live, Reaper, Cubase, Bitwig, and Studio One.
GrooveBloom is available now for a launch price of $19, with a regular price of $24. It is offered as a one-time purchase with free v1 updates. A free demo includes all features and becomes silent for one second once per minute until a license key is entered.
