Wavelet Audio has launched the Runa: Elder Scoring Strings library, a new addition to its range of products for Kontakt Player.
The Runa: Elder Scoring Strings library is crafted to enhance musical compositions with its distinctive and rich string sounds. It is versatile, suitable for various genres including cinematic, trailer music, horror, and folk. A highlight of this library is the inclusion of the traditional ethnic instrument, the Kobyz, which has been meticulously sampled to integrate its unique character into contemporary music production.
Key features of the library include several types of deeply sampled legato, such as Rebow Legato, Portamento, Fast, and Trill. Users can adjust the offsets for the trill in the Options menu, allowing for greater customization. Additionally, the library comes with a flexible sequencer equipped with presets and a MIDI drag & drop function. An FX Rack is also included, transforming the sound of this horsehair string instrument into something entirely new.
The Runa: Elder Scoring Strings library is compatible with the free Kontakt Player as well as the full retail version of Kontakt. It requires online registration via the Native Instruments Native Access system. Furthermore, it is fully compatible with Komplete Kontrol and all NKS Standard hardware and software by Native Instruments.
For those interested in purchasing, the library is available at a discounted price of $159, reduced from the original price of $199. This promotional offer is valid until July 31st.
