DJW Audio Unveils Shine Reverb Featuring Dual-Stage Pitch Shimmer and Extended Tails.

News: DJW Audio Unveils Shine Reverb Featuring Dual-Stage Pitch Shimmer and Extended Tails.

DJW Audio has launched Shine Reverb, an algorithmic reverb plugin with four reverb modes, extended decay settings, and a dual-stage pitch shimmer engine. The plugin is designed for producers, musicians, and engineers working with reverberation, sustained textures, and atmospheric sound design.

Shine Reverb includes Room, Plate, Hall, and Infinity algorithms. According to DJW Audio, the Room mode is built around dense early reflections and shorter tails, while Plate provides a brighter, metallic character. Hall uses a gradual onset with modulated decay, and Infinity uses regeneration for extended ambient effects.

The plugin’s shimmer section provides two independently adjustable pitch stages. Each stage can be set across a range of two octaves above or below the input signal. DJW Audio states that this configuration can be used for applications including ambient guitar processing, sustained synthesizer textures, and sound design.

Shine Reverb provides 12 sound-shaping controls, including:

  • Mix, decay, pre-delay, size, and diffusion
  • High- and low-frequency damping controls
  • Modulation rate and depth settings
  • Shimmer amount and independent controls for both pitch stages

Decay times range from 0.1 seconds to 99 seconds, while pre-delay can be set up to 500 milliseconds. The plugin supports sample rates up to 192 kHz.

Shine Reverb is available in VST3, AU, and AAX formats for systems running macOS 11 or later. Each license can be activated on up to two machines, and DJW Audio provides a 14-day trial version.

Shine Reverb is currently available for £49, reduced from its regular price of £99. DJW Audio has not specified an expiry date for the promotional offer.
