Soundiron has launched Hopkin Instrumentarium Chordophones library, designed for use with the Kontakt Player. This new release offers a unique collection of experimental stringed instruments, crafted by the inventive mind of Bart Hopkin.
The Chordophones library features ten distinctive stringed instruments, including the newly introduced Stroked Zither. Each instrument in the collection presents its own organic tonal characteristics, enhanced by multiple microphone positions and a variety of ambient soundscapes derived from the original content. This library is compatible with both the free Kontakt Player and the full version of Kontakt, requiring online serial number activation through Native Instruments.
For users seeking creative flexibility, the library includes a suite of automation-ready sound-shaping controls. These controls feature an adaptable LFO system, allowing for the selection of LFO shape, modulation target parameter, speed, intensity, tempo-syncing, and fade-in time. The library is also fully compatible with Komplete Kontrol and all S-Series Keyboard Controllers by Native Instruments, ensuring seamless integration into existing setups.
